i Tarocchi di Dante e dei Fedeli d'Amore (Dante Tarot)

Dante Tarot
Famous from its appearance in Kaplan's Encyclopedia of Tarot, vol. III (pp. 158, 163-164) and a frequent subject of discussion on many of the tarot news and chat groups, the "Tarocchi di Dante e Dei Fedeli d'Amore" (Dante and the Believers of Love Tarot) seems to be one of the "holy grails" of tarot collecting.

Painted by Bolognese artist Wolfgang Peretti Poggi, the Dante tarot was published in 1983, and has drawn much interest because of its fascinating subject matter. Poggi's illustrations for the Dante tarot were largely inspired by "The Divine Comedy," although the artist has included subject matter pulled from a wide variety of Dante's works.
