Pierrick Pinot's incredible Tarot
d'Argolance is the sort of deck that must
be seen and held "in person" to be fully
appreciated. The bold colors and clean,
heavy cardstock used combine to create a
worthy reproduction of the original
artwork.
Published in 1983, long before his
equally beautiful Felicite
Tarot, Pinot's d'Argolance merited the
better part of a 2-page spread in Stuart
Kaplan's Encyclopedia of Tarot vol.
III. According to Kaplan, Pinot was
"clearly influenced by the work of Oswald
Wirth." The mystical and alchemical
symbolism within the cards is sure to
appeal to both collectors and
metaphysicians.

Tarot vol. III, pp. 70, 74 -
75.
