Designer(s), Artist(s): Robin Ator
Country of Publication: U.S.A.
Number of Cards: 79
Publication Year: 2004
Publication Status: In Print
Reference: Encyclopedia of Tarot, vol. IV, pp. 101, 103
Description: It's the Waite-Smith deck, stripped down to its bare bones and rendered with those symbolic figures seen on international signage. The symbolism is all there... without the distraction of unnecessary detail. Perhaps too plain for some folks, but if you want a reading deck with imagery that really just gets to the root of it, this may be the deck for you. The illustrations remain colorful, and in fact, the color often adds an extra, though subtle, dimension to the interpretational flavor. This one has gotten the super-big "thumbs up" from Tarot Garden's own Dan Pelletier as one of his top reading deck picks.
