Description: Charming and unusual 78-card tarot deck entitled 'i Tarocchi di Gambedotti,' and sometimes referred to as the 'Gambedotti Gourmet' tarot. Published in 1986 under license to Club della Buona Carta, the card imagery celebrates gourmet food and wine. The minor arcana suits have been transformed into cooking and meal utensils -- wands become rolling pins, cups become pitchers, swords become carving knives, and pentacles become plates. NOTE: Gambedotti had previously published a tarot in 1982, also titled 'i Tarocchi di Gambedotti.' Released by Pheljna Edizioni d'Arte e Suggestione, Gambedotti's first tarot was a limited edition, majors-only accordian-fold print set.
