Romantic Tarot

Designer(s), Artist(s): Emanuela Signorini, Giulia Massaglia
Country of Publication: Italy
Number of Cards: 78
Publication Year: 2015
Publication Status: In Print

Description:
Victorian and Belle Epoch style permeates this ostensibly love-themed deck -- and certainly romance is in the air here, as the title suggests. But there's more going on in Massaglia's illustrations than mere flirting and courting. Here, you'll find regional flavor as well, with each suit being represented by a great European city: Paris for Wands, Venice for Cups, Vienna for Swords, and Rome for Pentacles. Non-traditional at times, but always intriguing, this Lo Scarabeo gem is suitable for readings beyond those concerned with affairs of the heart.

Sacred Bridges Tarot

Designer(s), Artist(s): J-Rach (Rachel Paul)
Country of Publication: U.S.A.
Number of Cards: 78
Publication Year: 2015
Publication Status: In Print

Description:
Another self-published work from the creator of the Dark Carnival Tarot, the Sacred Bridges Tarot feels thematically polar to her previous work. Spiritually focused and peace-centric (if that's not a word, it should be), the underlying concept involves the use of metaphorical bridges for making connections and building understanding. Like her earlier deck, the art itself is wild, colorful, and deeply expressive. Many of the major arcana sport altered (but compatible) titles. The suits are Staves, Waters, Stakes, and Wheels; the court cards are labeled Apprentice, Arrtisan, Shaman, and Chief.

Description:
Original photography of people and scenery are computer-composited with other graphic elements in this 78-card deck that pays tribute to the sacred pagan sites of Ireland and Britain. The pip cards are illustrated.

Tarot of the Sacred Feminine

Designer(s), Artist(s): Floreana Nativo, Franco Rivoli
Country of Publication: Italy
Number of Cards: 78
Publication Year: 2014
Publication Status: In Print

Description:
The title pretty much sums this one up. Male figures are in scarce supply in these 78 cards focused on spiritual feminism. The attractive, and occasionally inspired original imagery is certain to provide food for thought, but may be a bit gender lopsided for some folks' tastes.
