Hallmark Tarot

Designer(s), Artist(s): Darla Hallmark
Country of Publication: U.S.A.
Number of Cards: 78
Publication Year: 2009
Publication Status: In Print

Description:
If you like the basic Rider-Waite deck, you'll very probably like this nearly straightforward reworking of it. The illustration style is more modern, of course -- in fact, in many ways, it feels very much like the work of Mary Hanson-Roberts -- and it's always nice to see some people of color included in the illustrations. But on the whole, there is very little that's new here. Nonetheless, the pictures have an underlying fresh feel, which can be helpful if you want to bring the flavor of your readings out of the Victorian parlor and into "slumber party mode" instead.
